Information and resources on GDPR

We are now officially living in a GDPR world, after years of negotiations and a two-year ‘transition’ period, the EU GDPR (or General Data Protection Regulation if you’d rather call it by its full name) entered into force in May 2018.

As collection and processing of personal information is fundamental to the work of researchers, this new regulation impacts directly the work of market research and all data, research and insights professionals not only in Europe but also the rest of the world when working with European audiences. In such cases, all research needs to be based on robust data protection measures to build trust and meet the significant regulatory and legal requirements of the GDPR.
