Overview

Dashboards and interactive data visualizations are becoming increasingly important in everyday business life. More and more, customers and departments are looking for interactive solutions to help them analyze and visualize data in their everyday lives. It is important to know the basic dashboard concepts and technologies. Which concept is best suited for which study type, which task and which customer? What needs to be considered with regard to content requirements, information architecture, and information design? How can meaningful visualizations be found and modern infographics be developed that tell a story?

Learn how to successfully develop and implement dashboard applications - regardless of the software solution used - using a systematic approach that has been tried and tested in many projects.

  • Understanding the needs of your market research: designing dashboards for Customer Understanding Studies, Brand Trackers, Experience Management, and other
  • How to overcome the main challenges of interactive data visualization
  • Designing compelling dashboards – from eradicating boredom and eliminating data overload to delivering actionable and memorable insights

As Chief Product Officer, Alexander is responsible for developing the product portfolio to meet the various requirements of market research for dashboard, CX and reporting solutions. As the managing director of Dapresy Germany he helps customers to optimize all kinds of data visualization challenges and how to make the most out of Dapresy's infographic and storytelling based dashboard products by both creating solutions based on the Dapresy product portfolio and consulting customers on how to transform data into impact and maximize outcomes. Alexander is a frequent speaker and workshop leader at various international conferences. Most recent being: ESOMAR, Research&Reults, BVM and various Univerities.

Before joining Dapresy, Alexander spent more than three years working as head of operations at Kantar TNS Germany managing the entire production chain from data collecting to information delivery. Prior to that, he served as a member of the management board at Kantar Health heading the operational units as well as market research teams. He started his professional life as a managing director of a service and training provider for visual communication, data visualization, and presentation design. As such, he is highly experienced in the market research industry and an expert in information visualization and delivery.
