The structure of ISO 20252:2019 is completely different from that of the previous version. It starts with a general section, followed by six 'Annexes', each of which deals with a specific part of the research process. As an example one of the Annexes (Annex A), now deals extensively with access panels, meaning that the old access panel standard (ISO 26362:2009) has now been withdrawn.
