Event update: MAIN FEST becomes Insights Festival
Ever since our last communication with you, we have been closely monitoring the situation in Latin America, with regard to the COVID-19 outbreak. Sadly, it seems as if the region is suffering more than many others, making travel and gatherings of more than just family members, almost impossible.
As you will have seen, there is a growing sensitivity around the COVID-19 (corona) virus situation, with an increasing number of company travel bans and other restrictions (eg school closures) becoming apparent.
We would like to reassure you that the well-being of our members and our event delegates is our first and foremost priority, and as such, ESOMAR is regularly and closely monitoring and following guidance from the ECDC, CDC, WHO and other global and regional health authorities.
ESOMAR is very conscious of both the local and international concerns linked to this situation, and we are monitoring the situation daily; based on these daily updates and local input, we currently are still continuing the preparation and running of the ESOMAR APAC 2020 conference and our other events as planned. Should circumstances change, we will advise you immediately and act accordingly, with your well-being as our top priority.
